SENATE BILL NO. 199 "An Act relating to use of income of the                                                                    
Alaska permanent fund; relating to the amount of the permanent fund                                                             
dividend; relating to the duties of the commissioner of revenue; and                                                            
providing for an effective date" was read the second time.                                                                      
                                                                                                                                
Senator Bishop, Cochair, moved and asked unanimous consent for the                                                              
adoption of the Finance Committee Substitute offered on page 2389.                                                              
Senator Begich objected, then withdrew his objection. There being no                                                            
further objection, CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 199(FIN) was                                                                          
adopted.                                                                                                                        
                                                                                                                                
President Micciche stated CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 199(FIN) will                                                                  
advance to third reading on the May 4 calendar.
